There has been a sad demise of the teenage girl who was definitely the next hopeful to enter the Olympics has faced a tragic death as she was having one of the practicing sessions where she got stuck by the hammer and the case has truly become one of the most tragic training accident.

She was struck by the hammer in the field stadium at the track in Cuba in the month of April and after that, she was in a coma for the time being and now she has been declared dead on Tuesday which happened due to the head injury that she suffered.
and the hammer thrower of the team USA naming Gwen Berry has also sent condolences to the family of the Mayari as she has stated that this is so sad to hear and her love is with her family in these hard times.
Has also been stated by the Director at Cuban sports naming Reynaldo Martinez said that the athletes in Cuban are in total despair and are mourning at this point in time, he further stated that their thoughts and condolences are with the family of Alegna Osorio.
it has been stated several times that she was the bright future for Cuba when it comes to the hammer throw as she was extremely talented and was working on being the best with the hours of intense training.

She has won the Bronze medal at the Summer Youth Olympics in the year 2018 which she won in the hammer throw event, she also won another Bronze medal in the Pan American which was the under 20 championship which she won 2 years ago.
and this is the reason that she was being stated as one of the best upcoming talents who are going to be making their country proud in the sport and was probably going to be a future star for the country.
it is always sad to see when a young soul dies as she had her whole life in front of her which was full of potential but something that was not supposed to happen.
