Anne Arundel County Police confirmed the news stating that a 55 years old man has been arrested after being involved in the murder of his own mother. According to the reports, the cops were called at around 05:30 AM on Tuesday to a residence in the 1900 block of Woodsboro Place for some unidentified disturbance. The police said that they discovered an 85 years old woman whose name is Zakia Et Al Zaharna and was suffering from apparent trauma. She was immediately taken to the hospital where she was announced dead by the doctors.

A spokesperson from Anne Arundel County Police named Marc Limansky stated, “When they arrived, they discovered a woman who suffered from apparent trauma. There was also a witness at the scene who said that they had seen another individual in the house left in a Cadillac.” After getting the news, the police immediately started searching for Aiman Ghazi Zaharna, the son of the woman as he was supposed to have important information in the case.

On Tuesday evening, the cops located the man and the Cadillac which was missing. The police said that they have collected the evidence at the spot. The neighbors Linda Aish and John stated that they have known the victim for a long time. They added that they are stunned after hearing about his demise. John Aish said, “It’s disheartening.
