After the arrest of Disha Ravi, another arrest warrant against Nikita’s Jacob has been out. Disha Ravi is a Bengaluru climate activist who is accused in link with the “toolkit” on farmer protests. Yesterday she was arrested by Delhi Police and today again two other non-bailed arrest warrants against two activists Nikita Jacob and Shantanu have been issued. The “toolkit” was shared on Twitter by climate activist Greta Thunberg who has previously shared her views in the favour of farmer protest.
The “toolkit” was anticipated to spread hatred against the government of India and generated inharmoniousness among various social, cultural, and religious groups. Disha Ravi is one of the creators of the “Friday for Future” campaign and she has been averred that she edited the toolkit and sent it forward. A spokesperson of Delhi Police informed, ” we generated NBWs against Nikita Jacob and Shantanu. The Cyber Unit of Special Cell found the participation of Nikita, Shantanu, and Disha in the toolkit case. We’ll soon make arrests”.
Delhi police already arrested Nikita and now they are going to arrest her two other mates. Jacob is an advocate, has proceeded with an appeal prior to the Bombay High Court appetency transit anticipatory bail for four weeks.
