93RD ACADEMY AWARDS are going to be announced today, usually the ceremony was done by the Dolby Theater in Hollywood but this time due to the going on pandemic situation the awards are going to be held in many different locations, it has already been announced by the Academy of motion picture Arts and Sciences that the Oscar is going to be streaming live this year from many of the locations.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas who is a singer have already announced the nominations for the upcoming Oscars that they did in 2 presentations having a total of 23 categories that happened in March. the Ceremony is going to be led by Mank with having 10 nominations.
Judas, the father, Minari, The black messiah, sound of metal, Nomadland and the trial of the Chicago 7 are just behind with having 6 nominations each for all of them.
They have come up with the decision to not to be doing in-person event this time because of the going on situation because of pandemic, the people who are nominated are allowed with some guests that the nominees can invite will be only allowed to enter the hall and the ceremony and just like it has been for the past 2 years , there is going to be no host for the award ceremony.
WHEN AND WHERE TO WATCH
The Oscars are going to be aired live on Sunday April 25th which will be starting at 8:00 PM. which means that it will be aired at 5:30 AM on Monday for the people who will be watching it in India. The Oscars will be broadcasted on Star Movies HD, Star Movies and on Star World respectively and when it comes to the streaming platform it will be going to be live on Disney Hotstar, the Academy’s social media pages are also going to keep the audience updated.
